DAWLIFFE HALL EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

Volunteer

Why not volunteer some of your time helping out in DHEF or on one of our collaborative projects?

Volunteering Opportunities

Every charity needs volunteers for its work and DHEF actively promotes volunteering as a means of increasing social awareness and responsible citizenship.
Volunteering calls for a commitment and can be challenging, but is always worthwhile and gives you satisfaction and enrichment.

Who Can Help?

We need people with specific technology skills to work in the DHEF office, for example, marketing, social media and office administration. You can also volunteer by lending your professional skills in any of our student-led local community projects such as the Homeless Project, Homework. Homework Help and mentoring schoolchildren who are struggling with their academic work.

Volunteer support

We are keen to support our volunteers in the various situations they may encounter working with young people.

We have identified mental health issues and wellbeing as particular concerns. We want to equip our volunteers to be able to respond appropriately in those situations.

Our Welllbeing Team coordinators are:
Dr Busi da-Silva, MSc, MBChB
Sally Gloyne, BEd, MBACP

Besides supporting our volunteers individually, our Wellbeing Team also organises professionally led training sessions to support them.
